Today we’re excited to announce that our new automation type, Save to Email, is LIVE.
The landscape in social media algorithms is constantly changing. Email is one of the only assets you truly own. The instagram algorithm changes on a dime. Tik tok may get shut down.
Email marketing is a channel that you own. Which is why growing your email list will drive more predictability and revenue for your food empire.
Set up your “saved recipe” template.
If you’re on any paid plan with grocers list, you’ll be able to add a story keyword. You’ll see this automation type immediately when you login.
You can add in your brand colors, which we will automatically apply to the “save to email” recipe template.
Then, you can make some minor modifications to the saved recipe email template.
Like we do for the recipe DMs we send, we automatically inheirt the URL from the post caption, along with the cover image, and your profile pic. So the email looks great even if you do nothing. But by all means, feel free to add a personal touch, or a button to view all your recipes.
The email submission happens inside your DMs, automatically.
Once you enable Save to Email, every recipe DM will include a secondary button. If clicked, that button triggers the opt-in flow. It’s conversational, and fully automated.
Measure list growth overall, and per post.
Once enabled, you’ll be able to see all your contacts in the contacts tab, and even see how many signups you’re getting total, and on each post in the post analytics tab.
